PS2 Firmware

    Yesterday I took my PS2 (SCPH-50003) out of mothballs, i have an "Action Replay Max" CD, that i bought years back when the PS2 was in its prime.

    Back then the CD would not function at first attempt, i had to eject it at least a dozen times or more, before it would finally run and work.

    Back then the PS2 firmware was not updateable, but what about now, did Sony release any updates?

    PS2 Specs:
    Console: SCPH-50003
    Browser: 1.40
    CD Player: 2.00
    Playstation Driver: 1.11
    DVD Player 3.00E
