PIN number reminder for student credit card

    Hi,

    I was recently sent a PIN number reminder for my student credit card but my card is not working in France. Do I need to activate this PIN in an Irish ATM?

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    We would always recommend having travel plans noted on your account, if you do plan to use a card abroad. If you haven't already done this, please call the Credit Card Team on 00353 56 775 7747 or if your credit card is registered for 365Online you can submit the details through the Secure Messaging Inbox when logged on.

    Provided your card had not been locked, by entering an incorrect PIN three times at an ATM or point of sale, it shouldn't need to be activated. If it was locked, simply enter the card into any Chip and PIN ATM to unlock it.
