Does anyone know where I could pick these up in the Cork area? I need to replace 1 for the NCT and it seems like a straightforward thing to replace.

    thanks.

Any motor factors or if you want them today maybe try halfords.

Thanks, I'll give them a go and see if they have the parts.

Replace them both, they are pretty cheap!

Will be doing that soon, motorway quoted me about a tenner each and 30 to fit. Just need to book it in.

That sounds very cheap, are the OEM quality. Buy cheap, buy twice etc.

Would there be a cert with them as proof or anything I could check for? While I don't want to have to spend a fortune replacing the parts, I don't want cheap crap that won't work as well or be likely to fail.

Found that those sold in motor factors were totally useless, and halfords too.
last spurious ones i fitted lasted 2 months and started to rattle again. last ones i fitted from a main dealer are perfect after 2 years. more expensive but worth it. quite easy to replace too.

Worth getting the oem type for hard working suspension parts like those.

Hmm, I'd best be careful then. I may take a look at a main dealer just for a comparison. It does look quite straightforward to replace though.

I've seen some mention online about having to check the steering alignment after, is this the case when replacing these? I'd like to give it a go myself tbh seeing as it's a relatively simple thing to do.

no issue with alignment after drop link replacement. buy good quality aftermarket links and they will be fine
