A solicitor and former FF mayor of Castlebar 2003-2004, a Mr. Crowley has been struck off the roll of solicitors. He was found guilty of 13 counts of misconduct, according to Phoenix dated 17th.May. He was once seen as a rising star in FF and was close to Beverley Cooper Flynn. He was a former continuity announcer in RTE and also worked for local radio.

the pdf says it happened on 2/3 May .... what makes it news now ?

you can search through the document for "crowley" and find it quickly ..... but I wouldn't suggest doing so as its literally a few lines saying blah blah blah crowley struck off registrar ...blah blah blah.

Paddy De Plasterer is one dimensional in his postings. Anti FF and pro FG. Does he not see the ambiguity in dissing half of the same beast? Lets face it, Kenny got into power because the voters wanted someone to blame for what was a world wide correction in economics. Otherwise he would still be in opposition. But saying there is much of a difference in the two parties is a bit idealistic. They both crave power, self advancement and a better lifestyle (for themselves). Corruption and Spanish customs proliferate in Irish politics. Cute hoors are ten a penny in the Dail. I mean, this present shower, are they any better than FF? If so, please explain.

Only 13 counts of misconduct? Pretty poor effort from a FF 'rising star'

The full story is carried in Phoenix dated the 17th. May. I cant post it up here. Phoenix It says that in an article on Bev Cooper Flynn in 1999 Goldhawk referred to Crowley as a "dapper and precise" solicitor, and most attractive from a FF point of view is " His squeaky clean reputation"

Having already downed a few power drinks, she turned around, faced him, looked him straight in the eye and said, ‘Listen here good looking, I screw anybody, any time, anywhere, your place, my place, in the car, front door, back door, on the ground, standing up, sitting down, naked or with clothes on, dirty, clean. It doesn’t matter to me! I’ve been doing it ever since I got out of college and I just love it’!

Eyes now wide with interest, he responded, ‘No kidding. I’m a solicitor too. What firm are you with?’

What exactly is the point of this thread? Crooked solicitor gets convicted a month ago? Or is this some thanks whoring exercise by playing to the AH FF hating gallery? I suspect its the latter.

are you disappointed he was only put down on 13 or 14 counts. Did you expect it would be higher ?

I'm not disappointed that he was struck off. I'm wondering why you brought it up now. But seeing as we're on the topic of old news, I'd say you'll be interested in this

Stop trolling. It only came to my notice agout 2 weeks ago. FF Mayo media stayed away from it,even Tom Kelly of Connaught Telegraph. Thank God for Phoenix. Of course Crowley once worked for local radio also, and i think may have returned in some measure to that august field !

One of the downsides of the Celtic Tigers was the number of professionals such as solicitors, accountants etc. who allowed greed to take hold, embezzled clients funds etc and destroyed their companies. Many of these were in long standing firms which would have made a very comfortable living anyway without chasing excessive profits.

Well spoken, well protected, judicial scum.
All as they want to do is rip off joe public and do as little as possible work wise in the process.
This is one shower that makes my blood boil.
You generally end up at their office when you have a problem but before long your fighting two problems and paying handsomely for their pleasure.
