Looking for reading suggestions for 5 year old girl.

Hi Guys,

Looking for some help I read my 5 year old daughter a bedtime story and she's the usual princess stuff. I'm hoping to move her on (for my sanity) to something different and looking for some recommendations on books. A good girly story that I can kind of read chapter by chapter each night.

The Trouble with Daisy series of books are brilliant, you will laugh yourself and a 5 year old will understand it. I had the same problem as you last year before my little girl was a confident reader. There are a few Roald Dahl books aimed at smaller kids which will assist your efforts to stay sane. The Enid Blyton faraway tree and wishing chair books are good as well.
