What is the big deal with the Kennedys? A bunch of drunkards and adulterers that left Ireland for Boston because the spuds wouldn't grow.

The waste of public money is shocking. Why are we pandering to these bunch of nobodies from America?

 Yeah, it's not as if they're one of the most famous and influential families of all time.

The waste of public money is shocking.

Apart from an event in New Ross, a visitor centre in Dunganstown and RTE making a few shows what public money?

And the events in Wexford will probably pay for themselves with tourists

Just an excuse for yet another festival that Ireland seems to riddled with throughout the summer.

They're hardly nobodies. Arguably the most famous American family of the 20th century.

I suppose its a way of them advertising Ireland as a country to corporate america.
There's still a lot of gung ho towards J.F.K. in the states and I imagine its that
    sort of influence they're after.

I do agree however, that the whole affair is quite cringy.

Good man Dessie. Those pesky nobodies. Could never achieve in the their whole lives, a fraction of the impact and influence that your opening post has made on humanity and the course of history.

We salute your greatness oh amazing one!

No doubt Clare Daly is now organizing a visit by the descendants of Lee Harvey Oswald.
