I went through the bess thread and couldn't find a proper answer to what i'm looking for. Need help choosing subjects for business next year, i really want to make sure I do the right ones that suit me.

I want to do Marketing management, financial and management accounting, organisation theory, business in society, innovation entrepreneurship and new venture development.
anyone that has done the above would you recommend or advise against doing any of them?
The 5 above mean I have one more option to choose from the 4 remaining modules:
Applied Finance, HR management, Services and information management and introduction to information technology/information systems.
I don't have any desire to do any of them least not finance due to the maths in it. Any help/advice would be great thanks.

I just finished JS and did three of them. I'm not entirely sure if the courses will stay the same but they'll probably be quite similar at least.

For marketing, the 2nd half of the year is quite similar to SF marketing but in a bit more depth. She'll probably use the same book again. The project for it is like the SF project but you pick a company/product and come up with a marketing plan. It's like applying whatever product you want to the marketing framework from SF. She goes into more depth on the marketing mix, which is the main thrust of Hilary term. Michaelmas term focuses more on consumer psychology, why people buy things. There are lectures on identity, culture, rituals and sustainability (all-related to consumption/marketing) and then on market research. I found the first term much more interesting than the 2nd anyway.

Accounting is quite different to SF. The focus is mainly on accounting standards, rather than balance sheets and income statements. Whilst they do come into it, it is mainly how you would apply standards to them, i.e. how do you account for depreciation, inventory, property etc.

The only other I did was HR, which I didn't really enjoy but had some topics that were interesting enough like work-place bullying/work-life balance. She uses a lot of different models and readings so if you do that be prepared to do quite a bit of reading if you want to do well.
