Just got new glasses

I went to the opticians and they told me I need glasses. It was a surprise expense which came to €224 total. Different sources on the internet give different answers to if I can claim any health expense on this. Could someone point me in the right direction regarding this? Kai.

Dental and optical treatment
You cannot get tax relief for routine ophthalmic and dental care. Routine ophthalmic treatment covers sight testing, provision and maintenance of glasses and contact lenses.
