It's popped up in the links above but I have one of these and really love it. Sits comfortably on the wrist. Large without being silly and very surprisingly completely silent. You can't hear anything from the movement at all. It was about €70 all in from eBay.

If that were a chronograph I'd be all over it

This might just be within range, change the strap for a Nato style with pvd hardware

That is nice alright but the dial just looks a little too busy for me.

Think I am going to struggle to find something with a PVD case in the style I'm looking for with as sterile a dial as possible, so unless a Techne pops up at me I'm going to witch my attention to a brushed stainless steel case
Again prefernce is a nice sterile dial, preferably just 2 sub dials at the 3 & 9 position. Black or white face will be considered. Quartz or mechanical but budget is still limited to the 200-300 eur bracket

This Ticino might fit the bill...bit weary of the 44mm case in that it might look slightly big on my wrist. Currently my 42mm OB1 is about as big as I think I can comfortably hold and this one is 2mm more and almost a 1mm thicker

But I do like the simplicity and legibilty of the dial and that fantastic full display caseback. Downside is no sapphire but at this price its hardly expected

I think the best strap for the PVD is the Sand leather???

The display back into the movement on this watch is just superb.

There is a sparrowhawk original that I've considered but slightly more expensive. There is talk of Techne coming out with a replacement for the Sparrowhawk II in the next 6 months
