Realistically, How much would I have to pay on fees for first year doing a Arts Degree, everything taken into account.
Im not eligible for the grant for two more years so just checking how much it will set me back

Tuition fee (ignore if you're eligible for free fees): €3,098
    Student Contribution: €2,500
    Student Levy: €224

    Total: €5,822

If you're an Irish citizen, you'll pay €2,750 towards your tuition (known as the "Student Contribution") and €224 Student Levy (this pays for Student Services, your Student Union membership, clubs and societies).

The student contribution is due to increase to €3,000 for the 2014/2015 academic year, and is supposedly going to be capped at that level, but this is an FG government... you never know what you're gonna get in a budget...

    You're one year off there.
Student Contribution is €2,500 for the 2013/14 academic year, €2,750 for 2014/15, and then capped at €3,000 for 2015/16.
