I've never noticed in the Black sheep which is a sister bar to the Brew Dock. Wouldn't mind trying some myself.

What would you reccomend CG as alternative?

Actually tried a few beers yesterday in town and thought the Galway Hooker was very similar to Sam Adams.

Others I tried were Metalman, Brew Dog 5am Saint and Bishops Finger.

Mulligans of Stoneybatter used to have it but not sure if they still do...

Didn't mean it in a bad way. just that they have a nice selection and knowing myself I don't like to stick to the same beer twice ;).

But since you asked - Metalman (IPA) for one :)

Ah god no, knew you didn't mean it bad! Would genuinely love to sample alternatives.

Actually tried the Metalman IPA on draught in Cassidys (westmoreland street) yesterday. I found the bishops finger bottle to be more similar to Sam Adams. They have Leffe Blonde on tap too, which is nice

    Cool place.

I´m not sure I´d compare Metalman to Sam Adams really though.

Yeah it's not a bad spot, although the music can be hit and miss just with either the choice or the spiking volume. (i realise just as i typed that i must be about 80 years old)

Mulligan's in Stoneybatter have it on tap still. Considered a pint of it this weekend but opted it for the new O'Hara's Double IPA which is quite nice.

Had a pint in O'Neills at the weekend. It was a little flat to be honest. They also had quite a large range of taps offering other craft beers on draught.

Suffolk street? Heading there Saturday and hear there's a good selection these days.
