Depends on what they're drilin for I suppose ?

It's highly unlikely the Chief Engineer just decided to rock up to your gaff and keep your chizzlers awake for the crack like ?

Maybe there's a water leak or a gas leak or they're just puttin in your meter, but by and large Local Authorities do NOT like any work having to be done outside 9 to 5 as it costs them overtime,big-time.

It's a big difference between ourselves and other EU countries, where they tend to work at night to minimize the greater disruption to everybody, even if it discommodes those livin nearby...:(

Did yiz get asleep in the end ?

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.
