    Great photos there on what was a fantastic evening weather wise
    and credit to Ballymore for a well organized event and for the tea/sandwiches/biscuits afterwards ;)
    It's a pity there aren't more events like this, but I guess we don't have the organizers or the participants (as this one hadn't huge numbers taking part).

    The length of the climb was a topic of conversation on the night, ie. 1km @ 6.2% isn't seen as Cork's greatest challenge! I suppose you can't criticize Ballymore as they're probably the only ones willing to organize it.

    Personally, I probably had no business taking on the likes of Mick Fitz/Dunbar etc, but after heading down early and cycling around the Great Island and in around Cobh I said 'sure why not, lets give it a lash' !

    So what do we need to make events like this more popular, organizers or participants or location(iconic climb) or all-of-the-above ?
