was just wondering how important is orientation day? I was about to buy tickets for the Ireland and Sweden game but noticed it was the day before orientation in nuig (where I hope to go) and if im in Dublin at 10 o clock that night I cant see myself being in galway the next morning. so what would I miss out on? anything id struggle without?

I thought it was a waste of time but I've lived in Galway all my life and I was very familiar with the campus before I went to college.

It's a waste of time, but Ireland v Sweden might be too ;)

Waste of time, was debating the same question myself last year. If you we're free to go I'd say go, it's not worth missing out on anything (Ireland game) for though. Can't remember learning much at it that I wouldn't have figured out myself anyway if I hadn't gone.
