Strawberries 300g 99 cents in Lidl

Hi, Just came back from Lidl and they have it strawberries 300grams for 99cents i thinks its very good deal.
My mistake its 300grams.

They (Lidl) are far nicer than Keelings Strawberries.

IMO Keelings seems to be full of water and dont taste like a propper strawberry should taste.

The ones I got a few days ago were horrible and I couldn't eat them. I knew they didn't look right but reduced from €2.99 to 99c I figured there wasn't much to lose. They are Oaklands, none in the shop today but the price banner says 250g.

I got Oaklands cherries 99c (now €1.99) as well and they were fine and I never found any Lidl produce bad before.

was in Lidl Long Mile Road at 8.45 this morning and there was loads of strawberries and other offers. So loaded up on them. Taste just fine to me.
Also tried to buy a 12 x 330ml case of Sol but was told I can't buy gargle before 10am....shows how often I buy drink in supermarkets!

So went back at 2pm to get the Sol and noticed all the strawberries were gone, even their shelf spot had being replaced with something else.

Back from Lidl Parnell St. Were advertised there as 2.99 now 1.99 i.e. off. In saying that they were still out. Was tempted to whip up some cheesecake.
Now my little monster will have to go hungry.

I got them yesterday in Sligo you may ask staff about it -sometimes they dont pack out them.

Marked on the shelf as €2.99 in Togher, Cork but scanning at 99c. Still a good few left as of about 2:30. Mangoes are 69c

Now €1.99 for 300g marked down from €2.99. And very tasty not like the ones I got before.

Also off topic Lidl in Dundalk now have small baskets for customer, a very recent departure I think and a very welcome one.

Saw them for sale yesterday, they didn't look to be ripe and couldn't get a smell of strawberries from them. Good price but I think a lot of people would be disappointed with the quality.

have'nt tasted them yet but if it looks like a strawberry, and calls itself a strawberry then....:)
