I've been looking at some images created with a lensbaby composer and I have to say the effect is very pleasing.

I am tempted to get one but wondering what people's opinions of them are

I have one of the basic ones. It's quirky and a bit of fun and can suit some subjects. Mine was only €20 second hand but I'm glad I didn't spend any more on it.

I have a composer. They are 'way' easier to use and control than the regular squishy lensbaby.

They're a bit of craic, mine might sit in the bag for months then I'll take a fit of using it for a while. Then I get bored again.

I like mine. Would I buy again? Sure. Would I spend a fortune on one? No.

I have a lensbaby composer, and it's a lot of fun, but at the end of the day I find myself having to try to find excuses to use it rather than it actually being of much use...
