lemony smell in phoenix park

    figured other runners woulda come across it. usually gt it at the s bends at the top of the furry glen (nt the s bends by the magazine), running from the polo grounds towards hole in the wall and running dwn from the furry glen towards marys hospital. anyone else experience this? it smells like some kind of inscent that they burn to keep bugs away but nvr c any evidence of it.. anyone any ideas?

    Buttercups.?? its a bumper year for them. have never seen thae vast amonts that are in fields this year. i think its a nice smell actually. supposedly harmful to horses, somebody else may shed some light on this, not the smell but the actual flower itself.

    hmm i cant recall seeing any... will check when am running tomorrow, it is a nice smell we were just wondering where the hell it comes from

    Last time I got it, there were workers spraying weeds nearby.

    I've seen people spraying for weeds before in the park, and always with this smell. Best guess it's an organic weed killer using citrus oil.
    Speaking of nice smells in the park, I love the smell of wild garlic there this time of year. Took me a while to figure out it was coming from those innocent looking white flowers :)

    Sorry, that was me, I usually have a lemony "P" in the bushes, around there during my tempo run, and it guess its built up over the years :):):)...
