Sky broadband wireless xbox

Hi I have recently got sky broadband and now I'm having problems playing my xbox 360 online.it takes ages for the start up screen to load and sometimes it cuts out during games I rang sky and they said that the internal receiver in the Xbox might not be compatible with the sky router.is there any quick and easy ways around…

Hi I have recently got sky broadband and now I'm having problems playing my xbox 360 online.it takes ages for the start up screen to load and sometimes it cuts out during games I rang sky and they said that the internal receiver in the Xbox might not be compatible with the sky router.is there any quick and easy ways around this.dont say change Internet supplier because I have a years contract

log into your router and go to port forwarding and forward the relevant ports for your xbox ip address. if you google it you will see what ports need forwarding.

turn off your router firewall, its useless just blocks you from doing alot of things
or if your worried put it on low setting

forward all your ports to xbox 360

portforward.com

go to that site
look for your router (name of your router) and then look for xbox 360/xbox live

then it will show you how to do it
its quite simple to be honest

although ive heard bad things about sky broadband and trying to play games online
