Hi All, my parents have been invited to a wedding in Malta...its at the chapel of the shipwreck of St Paul, Naxxar & the reception is in the Villa Arrigo nearby....I'm trying to book them somewhere to stay & was wondering if anyone had any advice on which resorts would be nearest or any recommendations on hotels....they're pensioners so they wont want to walk too much so I think they should stay in a nearby resort area where they'd have access to pubs/restaurants etc & just taxi to the wedding itself.....any suggestions gratefully accepted :)

The nearest "touristy" places would be either St Julians or Sliema, I'd recommend Sliema more though, that would have the right concentration of pubs/cafes/restaurants they might want. Plenty of easy bus access also to the entire island if they fancy it.

Yeah agaree with above post. St Julians/Paceville wouldn't really suit their age group to be honest. Sliema is more the ticket.
