External speakers on mobiles are the worst invention ever

I've grown a severe dislike for the external speakers on mobile phones. Especially since they seem to be getting louder and louder. Sure, they're handy if you want to relax somewhere and listen to something (I regularly do that around my house listening to podcasts) but not when you're on a bus or any public place for that matter.

Seriously, I don't know how often I'm sitting on a bus and some gombeen (usually a group of young teenagers) takes out their phone and plays such terrible terrible music that is generally the same derivative awful nnn-tse nnn-tse nnn-tse style.

Man, any time it happens, I have to fight the urge to stand up, take the mobile phone and then just smash it or throw it out the window. And then charge them for the energy that I had to use to do so. Because if you can't use your phone with respect to others, then you shouldn't have one at all!

Headphones were invented for a reason, people!
