In a first for Irish domestic cricket, the RSA T20 Trophy match between Leinster Lightning and North West Warriors will be broadcast live on Aer TV this Friday (June 21).

For those of you who can't make it to Sydney Parade tomorrow it seems you will still be able to watch! Congratulations to everyone involved in making this happen. Pity of course they can't/won't show both games (wouldn't faint if CI didn't want to ruin the attendance for the second game).

First game (and the one being streamed) is Leinster Lightning and North West Warriors at 12:30. Second sees the Lightning and Northern Knights do battle at 17:00.

€10 in (including parking) while under-16’s get in free.

The weather should be pretty good and the ground is pretty easy to get to (http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=53.32457&lon=-6.21513&zoom=16&layers=M). You could grab a dart to Sandymount or bus to RDS and stroll down Wilfield Road, or drive/walk in off Park Avenue. Hopefully a decent crowd (at least for the second encounter) will come out to make some noise and set the ball rolling on the Interpro T20s.

No alcohol may be brought in (before the inevitable questions) but food and drink (the full bar I presume) will be available.

If nothing else watch online and help boost the stats to keep improving the bargaining position for more coverage or just look out the window while going past on the dart and give a wave/bang on the windows.

What odds on some more Kevin O'Brien fireworks to light up at least one of the encounters? Pity there is no Mr Stirling also for maximum odds of some big scoring dramatic hitting.
