    My 80's stained yellow machine just packed in. I don't think I need a super fast one. It's mainly used when making pastes

    for curry pastes and just chopping herbs. i've got something very similar to the below. It's not made for any kind of big volume though.

    I've got a Moulinex one similar to that that I've had for ages. It works a lot better than a full-sized blender for making pastes I find.

    This seems to be the closest thing they make now ...

    Alternatively Lidl recently had a small chopper / blender, and they have some still in my local store.
