'x' on land registry map?

Can anyone tell me what an 'x' means on a land registry map?

I've got one at the very corner of my land and I'm just curious as to what it means.

Also worth taking a look here http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,591271,743300,0,10 and zooming in on your land and swapping between the various maps to see if the same notation is on any of the historic maps.
