Tiredness after root canal

    Is it nornal to feel completely whacked the day after a root canal? Is it the drugs they give you that causes it?

    I was extremely nervous beforehand. ..am one of those petrified of dentists types and was completely tense the whole time. ...ive been reading on the Internet that this can cause tiredness afterwards?

    Just wondering what causes it and when I can expect to be back to normal?

    Not sure what drugs they give you but when I had a root canal done last year I was very tense also even though it turned out to be completely painless. I was pretty knackered for the next day or so, not sure it was the tension the drugs but I soon got over it and haven't looked back since, hopefully you'll be feeling better tomorrow

    Ive had 2 and been tired afterwards, but an early night and you should be fine the next day
