    Hey all

    Anyone know where i can get one of these ?

    Or got any ideas on how i could make one. have a couple of ideas but i see major flaws in them all.

    go to your local electrical wholesaler who should have plenty of used timber cable drums ,find the size that suits your heater (should be free)sand ,stain and clear coat to seal against weather, total cost around €15.00 for materials.

    Thanks for the help. had started on this before you posted. The worktop joiners would have made live easier for me alright. As i'd like to the able to take the table off (winter/storage and that) any way here is the finished article. (I'll post when i get home some upload issues in work)

    I used a piece of worktop i had leftover in the shed. and as its chip board i used sealer all around the exposed wood to stop it from soaking up the water in the rain.

    I'm pretty happy with the result. it has been used a good bit lately. even though the heater has not been turned on with the weather.
