As a general rule of thumb I'd always approach buying random-name electronic goods with a good dose of caution.

But the specs seem decent, and it's running a fairly recent build of Jelly Bean

    Battery @ 4300mAh is a strong point.

If it is the same as in all Chinese products than it is not good at all:)

When did ibood start doing free shipping? Stopped checking their site because of the ludicrous delivery charges.

I noticed that last night as well and was surprised. They were charging €12.95 for delivery the day before for batteries!

It is only today with this tablet - nextbook is paying for it.

    Not a bad price really

Similar spec 8" Tablets from say focalprice coming in at around the same, when you factor in customs duty. So the benefit is really the hopefully shorter shipping time.

I have nothing against FP, used them for tablets in the past without hassel - cheap as chips Chinese tablets are flooding the market now and one vendor is pretty much the same as the next (except for the big brands).

    Here's FP's selection

All in all I'd say go for it if you're in a buying mood!

    :)

it's not just the battery mah rating that's important but also the quality of the battery itself. It's like if you buy a cheap replacement phone battery that has a good mah rating but in reality it's sh1t!
