You need to make a belt saving 'eight in one blow', the towns people will think you are a hero. Then they'll get you to fight a giant with hilarious results.

    It happened to this chap

Tell me its not just one of those ones you get fly guts all over when you swat them? I got one of these, nice clean kill. You just press the button and swing for the fúcker then bam, it's lights out for our little friend. No gutsy mess, just the stench of victory (fried fly).

my dog keeps the house pretty well cleared of flies

she goes abit ape shit at them if they're flying too high, and buzzing at the tops of the windows tormenting her.. have been caught by the neighbours once before as they walked by, holding her up above my head so she could finally catch one... cue the most sheepish grin Ive ever mustered

To be fair, summer and anything results in a fly infestation. Luckily terriers are well equipped to mass murder said flies.

Ye olde timey Ireland right there :p

I remember my great grandfather bringing home the villages first cappuccino maker. This was before electricity so it was powered by prayer and spuds.

On a similarly fly related note. I changed a bulb in work today just before finishing up. The fitting was full of dead flies so I emptied it into the staff toilet and discovered that dead fly corpses float like buggeration and have defied three flushing attempts. I have done a legger leaving my all female work mates squatting over dozens of wee floaty bugs.:D
