Thinking of getting one of these but I am not sure if it is suitable for a Ford Focus 09 Hatchback. I have checked out the Saris website and it only mentions the Ford Focus up to 2007 models and then the 2011 model but mentions nothing about the 2009 model.
Anyone on here using a Saris bones on the Focus 09 hatchback model ?

    Thanks in advance

The 2008model Ford Focus was a " facelift" model. In other words, it was not a full new model. There were changes to light clusters, grille and other minor exterior changes. However, door panels and general bodywork remained the same as the 2007 model.
So, if the Saris fits the 2007 model, it will also fit the 2008 model.
2009 model is same as 2008 model.

fwiw, I've used a Saris Bones (older version) on saloons with a boot, hatches, MPVs and vans, and it has never taken more than seconds to fit.

Absolutely. Compared to the metal frame ones, the Bones is a lot less messing, very quick to install, remove and folds up small, so you can put in the car when its not being used (and store easily). I've had mine for over seven years, and carried bikes around Europe on it, n'er a problem.
