Storage wars?/

Ive been watching storage wars alot. You never know what people throw out.
I was wondering is there anything like that in Ireland?

Profit is to be made at it. Depending on what lockers you get. I no alot of it is for the T.V but im sure it can be decent at times.

No great tradition of commercial storage useage here.

Car boots are our closest equivalent, but most of them that I've been at sell only rubbish; toys, clothes, old cds and games and cr*p no-one wants. Oh and the obiligatory stolen power tools.

I think the Gardai have auctions of unclaimed items from time to time.

Car boot sales are hit and miss and you have to be prepared to sift through mounds of mind numbing dross to find any treasure. That said, I've had a lot of finds down the years including items of kitchenalia which I still use on a regular basis.

Always have a look in your local skips.I got an 1950's pye valve radio recently,not worth alot but a nice find nonetheless.
