Bought the ticket in a Londis or whatever and validated it on the bus this morning but it didn't print a date on it :( so what will happen to me on the Luas if the inspector checks my ticket and sees no date on it?! Has me like a nervous wreck today getting Luas incase I get a fine over it? Feel like buying a ticket from the actual Luas machines tomorrow or is there anything I can do to sort this? Any help appreciated!!! Thoughts of being called out on this on the Luas!!!

If you bought one I wouldn't be buying another not a chance of it.

Is there a number on the card/reciept you can ring?

There was a number on the back that I rang but he just said the Luas inspectors have a thing to check it the thing they use to check leap cards but I don't think that's right :/ that's just to see did the leap card tag on! I usually buy my 7day bus and Luas from the Luas machine and it's validated when it comes out but bought the one from the shop to save me a bus fare in the next morn to buy a ticket from the Luas machine! Never again :(

I'd write the dates (start and end) on it and explain it to the inspectors if they ask.

Can you check the surface of the ticket to see if there are any indentations from the printer? I spoke to someone.

The ticket may not have been validated at all. Without the date stamp; this ticket isn’t valid for travel on Luas and the ticketholder could face a Standard Fare.

    Either:
    (a) Try to validate the ticket on another Bus in case it wasn’t validated at all.
    (b) Bring it back to the shop, or Dublin Bus, O’Connell Street for replacement.
    (c) Purchase another 7 Day ticket and seek a refund for the first one.

Come back to us or Luas / Dublin Bus if you encounter any difficulty sorting this out.

What form do those tickets take? Are they magstripe on DB and printed on Luas?

The ticket was validated as there is a small ink mark and is working fine today on the bus, I wrote the dates on it and a Luas inspector looked my ticket this morning and didnt say anything so thanks for everyone's help :)
