I am going into year 3 of a level 8 course.

I dropped out in year 2 of a level 8 course 5 years ago so for the first 2 years of this new course I have had no grant or free fees.

Now I am wondering how do I go about getting the grant and free fees sorted for next year.

Do I apply for a renewal or do I apply for a new grant?

    Thanks.

Free fees - contact the fees office
Grant - contact SUSI and ask - I think you would be a new applicant but SUSI will have to confirm this for you

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    Hi Sea Monkey,

If you're completing the same course that you originally attended then you would be renewing your grant. If this is a new course you will need to apply through SuSi.

In order to apply to SuSi you go to www.grantsonline.ie and register an account with us. You may then complete the application.

If you need any further help please don't hesitate to ask. Also the option to private mail us is also available.

    Kind regards,
    Aoife,
    SuSi HelpDesk.
