I am looking into looking the above and just want to get a heads up how this job goes, is it a simple switch of headlamps and do the current connectors fit or do I need a different adaptor for it?

Also where I take out the old indicator lamps on the front would the spots sit in there nicely without to much cutting and drilling?

    Cheers

Are you planning to do it yourself?
I'm pretty sure it's straightforward but maybe someone who has actually done will know.

    Seems to be quite easy

    One question, why?

i think some wiring may be involved. on the basis that the mk1 had the indicators in the bumper and the mk1.5 has the indicators in the headlamp.

Not sure the Mark was ever face lifted. Can you post pics to illustrate what you have in mind?

@Biko cheers for that and yeah ill be taking it on myself.

@ION08 The car has no head lamps in it at the min so was looking at maybe upgrading to the facelift instead of buying the older headlamps

Plus I think it takes a few years of the car and makes it look fresher, i dunno i like it anyway!

Old model had indicators in the bumper, facelift had them in the headlights. Google an 04 and you'll see
