    Hi guys,

There's a new accounting firm where I live actually about 10 mins walk. I am thinking of sending my an email if they would like to take me for an unpaid internship. I don't need any money for transport and its just a few minutes walk.

What's the best way in doing so that limits my chances of getting rejected?

You could give a call and ask to talk to whoever looks after recruitment. Follow up the call with the CV or to drop in for a chat.

That's a good idea but could be an instant " no we do not internships" at this stage.

Although sending them an email makes no difference in this case.

He who dares Rodney, he who dares.

If you get talking to the right person you might get lucky. Easy say no to an email, at least you'll know there and then with a call. Who doesn't want somebody to work for free. (other staff don't so if you got hold of the boss you'd stand a lot better chance)
