Tag Heuer link calibre S issue

About 8 weeks ago I sent my 2 month old Link Calibre S off for repair under warranty. The watch came back in working order however I did note something of interest.
Prior to sending the watch for repair, when the crown was pressed the hands moved to the 12 o clock position (chronograph mode) without any sound what so ever and in a very smooth motion.

However, once I got my watch back after repair there was a clearly audible sound of the movement when the crown was pressed. A kind of clicking/ ticking noise for want of a better word. I noted also that the movement of the hands was not as smooth or fluid as they were before the watch was sent off.

I understand that in some other models of the Link, this movement noise is normal but this does not seem accurate in my case since this was not an issue before the repair (no sound and fluid motion). A family member has the exact same watch and it is confirmed that it is a much smoother movement and there is no noise when the crown is pressed.

I am wondering is this something that I should be worried about, does anyone have a similar issue? I've been in contact with TAG about it and they're happy to take the watch back for a check but I am reluctant to wait another 6 weeks to get it back.
