I walked into the timber section of Woodies yesterday and the manager asked me if I wanted decking.

I hit him with a hay maker first.

    Cheeky fcuker.

I'm just happy travellers are finally getting the recognition they deserve in AH, what are we at now, 5, 6 traveller threads today?

Wait a minute, if settled people have moved in next door, doesn't that make you a settled person? I'm cleverer than this thread

I'm sorry for your troubles. Remember that most crimes in this country are carried out by settled people, so make sure you keep your doors locked.

I predict residents associations and garden centres will follow.

It's a dark route, run while you still have the chance.

Live and let live OP. Go round with a pot of rhubarb jam and introduce yourself.

This is racist to all the settled people around here.

Have you considered burning them out of the place? I've found it's the only language these so-called "people" understand. Don't do this if you live in a semi-detached house though (I learned that one the hard way :( ).

The language of fire. Straight to the point. I like it.

Now it's time to play the waiting game, should they say hello first, or you?

Keep em sweet - you might be able to make a few bob off them tarmaccing their drive, removing their old cars etc etc. They're not all as bad as people make out.

Regale them with stories about the one time you got served in McDonalds and had a coke shake and a leg of fish.

  • Site Banned Posts: 280 ✭✭Dr_Brian_Cocks

Are they on the dole and do they prefer jam or marmalade?

Go in and ask them if they've seen your dog/goat/chicken. That'll give you a chance to scope out any interesting things they might have.
