    What is the construction industry in oz like at the moment not hearing good reports ?

    It's okay although a lot of jobs stating Australian citizens only for security reasons, well the NT anyway. You need tickets for this that and everything else especially to improve you chance of getting a job, it's not enough to have a drivers licence and a white card. Ideally you'd want a white card $120, working at heights and confined spaces $500, high risk fork lift $500-$800, excavator $450-$1600, loader $500-$800 and telegandler $400-$650, check out seek.com.au these are the credential wanted by most employers for most jobs and don't limit you's elf as to what you can do, Aussies have a great "give ye a go" attitude.
