    Hi all,
Just noticed today I have a tiny pin hole in one of my injector pipes (the furthest right hand one). Its just over the rocker cover an very easy to see and get at. It must have only happenend this morning as I noticed the smell of deisel first and then the puddle of deisel under the van when I stopped. Question is can I repair it cheap and cheerful with a connection of somekind or will I have to replace the whole pipe. Other question is where does the pipe go? After a quick glance this evening it appears to be heading off down the back of the engine. 07 1.6 hdi

Its not recommended to repair these pipes as pressure up to 1500bar pressure goes tru them when the engine is under load.

If you pm me your vin number i'll post up a diagram and the correct part number for the pipe you need..;)

Checked it out on servicebox and it comes in at €21.24 but this may vary from dealership to dealership.....
As allinthehead said and you can see from the diagram they come in pairs.

The screw onto the rail at the rear of the engine....its critical to keep dirt from getting into these pipes as the next stop is the injector.

The citroen part number for no 4 in the diagram is 1570 G4

The pipes can be got from the top of the engine but you will need to remove the airfilter box and maybe the egr valve heat exchanger to get to the rail.
Its not to bad on the berlingo's....you should try it on the c4 Picasso's..

It depends how much its leaking but remember when your driving hard and the engine is under load it will leak more.....I say keep your driving to a minimum until its repaired..:)
