what to get ? graphics card ? ram ?

    really want to get into pc gaming but im having a bit of a blockage ... i dont have the money to buy and build a new gaming pc from scratch but what i do have is a old windows xp professional Intel lying around it runs minecraft and farming simulator (with a lot of lag) every move is lag but my friend whos is kind of tech savy says all i need is a new graphics card and i can say goodbye to that lag so what im asking is any advice as to a graphics card i can use in my pc with no lag 30 fps on games like skyrim and as always the cheaper the better

    You'll need to give more info on your current pc. Current CPU, motherboard ect.

    its all stock havn't touched it since i bought it ... any idea how i could tell ?

    It's so old that getting tech to fit it would be a real challenge (and ultimately not worth it at all). Best advice is to save your cash and buy a proper computer.

    Sorry, I just re-read what I wrote and the tone looks like I'm being a real dick - I'm sorry about that :) Wasn't my intention at all. You'll see plenty of advice on this forum with decent builds for around the €500 mark which is XBox One Money. Obviously the more you can afford, the better it'll be. You've made the correct decision though ;)
