Any ideas? Don't want it in my house, have family stuff going on and my in laws love the drink too much and I don't want that.
Anyway, my Daugher is one next month. Can anyone recommend anywhere to hold her party.I don't want to go somewhere where we are rushed for time or anything.
I was thinking to go to the zoo and sing happy birthday at the picnic benches or out on the grass in the park after wards.

I looked at imaginosity, looks great but I have a few toddlers going but also a few 8 year olds so a toddlers party would bore them.

    Thanks everyone

You mention a few toddlers and some older kids, what about the likes of Play Zone? I know you don't mention where you are but is there something like this in your area?

We are planning out kids party for later this year and like you we didn't want it in the house. All the kids can go wild and the adults can relax and chat with coffee (or food) and then feed the kids and cake.

how about a teddy's bear picnic in the local park? beside the playground? we did this - worked really well. no problem is you're very dependent on the weather. But the kids loved it - the women generally chatted on the picnic blankets and the blokes entertained themselves with a rugby ball! We didn't do a massive amount of food - some goodies for the kids and then a cake - being based beside a safe playground was key - we're in Dublin and used Palmerstown Park in Dartry because there's a big green area right beside the playground and the kids were free to go in and out as it was so easy to supervise them.
