PC Cleaning - Air Pressure

    Howdy,

Im looking to get something like an air compressor for cleaning out my PC sick of going through Pressure Cans like candy. After having a look seems air compressors are quite costly €100+ so was thinking of using something like a tyre inflation unit.

    http://www.woodiesdiy.com/Product/Brookstone-Mini-Air-Compressor/17158/4.15.4

Seen this in Woodies and was gonna pick it up but wanted to research first. Seems alot of people use air compressors and save a fortune on the air cans. Most seem to stick to 80-100 PSI. One concern is how i would get the air out of it as it wouldnt be connecting to a tyre. Any thoughts?

    I have no idea Mark.

I use one of these, expensive I know but the best yoke I ever bought. No regrets whatsoever ;)

    Probably :D

I don't have it just to clean my own PC and it gets a lot of use.

My usage is high so my logic was simple, the cost of a dozen crap cans or so covered it and there's no moisture issues.

Whatever you go for I hope it works out well for you ;) I wouldn't think those inflaters would be up to much though? I guess for the the price of a couple of cans it might be worth a try.

Each to their own, down the line I may pick up something more pricey. I keep it clean, so it wont take much pressure to blow the dust out.

Where are you getting a couple of cans of compressed air for €13? My local PC World (Waterford) is the only place I've seen em and they want €18 for one can!!!

That's a great idea, I have one of those from when we used to go camping ( used to inflate the camp beds) and its sitting in the shed its only used when my daughter has a sleepover with her mates. I'll get a length of plastic tubing from work and I'll be all set.
    Thanks

I think I will invest in one of them. Anything that makes cleaning quicker and less hassle is worth money. I dont like the cans as they just blow the crap around the room which eventually gets sucked right back into the case.
