    hi lads,
bought a 2nd hand car last week of a reputable car dealer in limerick, got 3 months warranty on it. when i brought it for a road test, it felt fine.
it was friday evening on the dublin road so quiet busy & didn't get to go over 100km speed wise. that's where the problem arises, when i go over the 100km it get fairly shakey. tracking?

as i bought it off a well known dealer ship, i didn't get a mechanic to check it out. so my question is, any good mechanic in limerick that i could get it checked with for a reasonable price.
    thanks

if you have a warranty bring it to them, if you get someone else look at it the dealer will void your warranty, sound like wheels need balancing

Wheels not balanced. Just take it back, it's an easy fix (usually).

If you just want a second opinion on the car here's how to use google to find old boards' threads.

If it still shakes after balancing it has a damaged alloy/steel wheel.

Not necessarily. It could be a number of things, including wear in the steering and/or suspension.

100/110kmph seems to be the trigger range for unbalanced wheels.
Lower or higher it usually isn't as bad.
