Hi. I want to cancel both my sky and setanta subs. I'd prefer to do this by email if at all possible. Does anyone know if this is facilitated and if so, what are the relevant email addresses?

Thanks in advance for any info.

No, you need to ring them. Sky is a premium number. Beware when you cancel Sky most of your recordings will no longer play any more. They will work for next 30 days until you are cut off.

thanks for that. Eight minute wait for cancellations ...although to their credit they have rang me back and then put me in that queue...

Setanta can be cancelled via email or their online contact form. Did this in the past a couple of times but I'd suggest you keep a record of it though.

Always use Recorded Delivery by post. Include all your personal details, subscriber and card information. Tell them not to phone you because you are hard of hearing.

Sky are known to use "data Protection" and "security" excuses so they don't accept your cancellation by any on-line method - EVEN when you've proven who you are by logging into your account. So don't allow them this option. Do it in writing and keep a copy with your proof of posting.

(Ignore this if you are merely cancelling to get a discounted offer.)
