Rent allowance & change of address

I am looking to move to new accom which is €5 more expensive per wk. I currently pay €300 per mth. The monthly rent limit in my area is €300. The extra €5 would bring me to €320. Does this mean that I am unable to move to the new accom or anywhere else where the rent is over €300?

If the limit is €300, thats as high as you can rent. Another thing to remember is to be certain any new landlord will accept RA.

Thanks very much for the advice. Seems incredible you cannot change accom if it's at no extra cost to the Revenue.
