    going to zadar for 10 days jul/aug with family 4 kids
    thinking of staying in old town for a night or 2 and
    maybe some islands after that any ideas/experience
    appreciated

    1. Go to Plitvice Lakes National Park on a day trip, it's stunning.
    2. Get a catamaran out to Hvar island and spend at least 3 or 4 days out there. You will have to drive/bus to Split first.

    thanks for reply think well go to plitivice lakes alright not sure about
    hvar hoping to get enough time on islands around zadar we wont be
    driving hoping for hassle free relaxing type holiday so want to stay fairly
    near zadar and still see afew diffrent places

    Ah yeah I thought you might want to stay closer to Zadar alright. I'm only speaking from experience tbh - I haven't been to any of the islands that far North. Pag is connected to the mainland by a bridge I know that much, it's where the Hideout Festival is held every July. Kornati Islands are meant to be nice for a day trip as well. Other than that I'm clueless.

    The Sea Organ on the Riva in Zadar town is cool! Also as far as I know the Krka National Park is closer than Plitvice and you can swim there, could be a better option for the kids
