Stopped watching Top Gear quite a few years back, anytime I catch a bit of it now I can't believe how much it has moved away from being a car show and just being general entertainment. And the laddish presenting style and the audience are a bit OTT for me.

I still think there must be a market for a decent car programme on TV, one that actually looks at cars that we all can buy.

Fifth Gear is better in that way.

Top Gear is now so heavily scripted, it's a joke.

The banter between the lads on the couch is so, so fake and, well, scripted.

As car shows go, I personally find Wheeler Deealers hard to beat these days. Edd China is class.

It went a bit sideways for me lately with the buying globally and trying to then flip it for another car to continue on following week. Still one of my favourite car shows .

Fifth Gear is better in that way.

I was having trouble sleeping a few years ago, & my doctor advised me to watch a few eps of Fifth Gear...worked a charm :D
