Short term insurance policy?

    Hi,
My six month AVIVA insurance has just run out. What should I do in looking for insurance before my test in September. Is there any short term insurance policies? The reason I ask is that I presumed, getting insurance now as a learner would be more expensive than getting insurance as a Full driver. Are any companies offering particular deals?
(I will be added to my parents policy.)
    Thanks.

It's your parents policy. You should just be added to it. That is unless their policy is about to end. You can pay to be added to their policy up to the renewal date.
