CPA - P2 Stage - Choose Industry or Practise Electives

    Can anyone give advice on which electives to choose at P2 stage of CPA.
    I am currently working in industry, under an ACCA accountant who came from practice to work in industry. He said that it doesn't really matter at the end of the day what electives you go for, I should obviously go for the industry electives, but as there are not as popular, it would be more convenient to sit the practice electives. I would like to choose the easiest route if at all possible. Options are either Audit Practice & Assurance Services/Advanced Taxation versus Strategic Corporate Finance/Strategic Performance Management. Any comments appreciated.:)
