Getting CAA to release medical documents

I am transferring my CAA PPL to IAA and need to get the CAA to release the medical documents to the IAA.

Copy of initial medical application form and examination report forms
Summary of medical history with supporting aeromedical assessment clinical reports
Copy of current medical application form and examination report forms
    Copy of current medical certificate
Copy of latest electrocardiogram and audiogram

Do I just email them a signed letter saying please release the records to the IAA or how do I phrase it?

As far as I'm aware when you make your application to the IAA, they, on your behalf, request the information from the CAA. The CAA may, in turn, contact you and charge you for the release of information to the IAA. Best to call CAA as a heads up/check on charges

I received an email from the IAA but am a bit confused if i just have to send a letter. It appears so, but I thought they'd be an official form. Not really sure what to say in the letter as I have an IAA medical.

Do you have any idea how much the CAA charge to release the info?

I recall for an FAA 61.75 licence info release, the CAA charged about £45, I'd imagine it's about the same for the medical info. The IAA medical you have, is it a recent one, or an initial?

Ugh have to get a new 61.75 too guessing I'll be paying twice! My initial medical was IAA and renewed it last October again IAA (Class 2)
