O'Raghallaigh's GAA club will be the official finish point of the cycle. It is just outside Drogheda on the North Road, just off the M1.

Free parking, changing rooms and ladies and gents shower facilities will be available for cyclists at the clubhouse.

Participants can park at the GAA club, get changed, and cycle down to the D Hotel to sign up for the challenge before 10.45am.

Free bottled water and fruit will also be available at Castlebellingham, which is the half way point of the cycle.

The clubhouse bar will be open, and there will be free food for all cyclists after the event.

Looking forward to seeing you on the day!

O'Raghallaigh's GAA club is now unavailable on the day, so the new finish point for the challenge is St Oliver Plunkett's GAA club, Mell, Drogheda (just off the M1, exit 11).

There will be free parking and changing facilities at the club before the challenge, and showers and free food at the finish.

Looks like the weather will be ideal on Sunday for cycling, with temperatures in the low 20s with a light breeze. Participants are advised to apply sunblock and to bring water bottles. Best of luck to everyone taking part!

hi folks, newbie to boards here so forgive me if I've already missed the answer, I was wondering if you can sign up for this event in the morning or does it have a limited capacity

Yes, registration is in the morning between 10 and 10.45 at the D hotel. There is free parking and changing facilities beforehand at St Oliver Plunkett's GAA club, Mell, Drogheda (just off the M1, exit 11). The club is also the end point of the cycle.

Great day. Great route. Great weather. Great scenery.
Hopefully you organise it again nxt year as it was a little tougher then I had expected.
    That's not a bad thing.

For a first organised event it was very well run, nice scenery and a good route. The organiser said he didn't realise there was so much was involved in running the event so fair play to him. A turnout of 80 which wasn't bad considering the ROK was on.

Many thanks to everyone for taking part today, great to hear you all enjoyed it! A lot of people generously gave more than the entry fee which was much appreciated. The Challenge will be an annual event, so hope to see you next year!
