Cambridge Minx Go Vs Bose soundlink mini

Hi all, l'm looking for a really decent portable Bluetooth speaker to replace an aging first gen Bose Sounddock. Two new bluetooth speakers have been announced 1) the Cambridge Minx Go priced at £100 and is available now on amazon uk and 2) the Bose Soundlink mini which comes in at €199 but is not in the shops for another few weeks.

Between these two, audio quality is really the only thing that matters to me. The Minx seem really good value for the spec. Both are getting great reviews, I was wondering if the Bose will likely pip the Minx on sound quality and justify the extra outlay or is it a case of paying more for the brand? Interested in hearing opinions...

The soundlink mini is less than half the size of the minx go, which in my case would be the selling point as i am looking for the smallest speaker with the biggest sound and i am sure the soundlink mini will do just that.
I haven't heard the minx go yet, so i cannot say anything about its qualities, but it rather competes with the normal Soundlink which is much more expensive though, therefore the minx seems to be a real bargain here.

I currently own the normal Soundlink (second version) and although i am still impressed by the powerful sound this speaker is able to produce, i don't like it overall. For my purpose it is too big and the sound is a bit on the dull side. It is also quite directional, listen to it off-axis and the sound suffers a lot, bass drowning everything else.

I heard nearly all available small speakers like Jambox, Jbl Flip, etc but none really satisfied my needs so far. I think the Soundlink mini will be the first to produce a full and mature sound from this size and only slightly bigger than the jambox it remains perfectly portable.
